Take action: support urgently needed for safer cycling route linking Hackney, Canary Wharf and beyond

Great news – TfL, Hackney and Tower Hamlets councils are proposing a high-quality cycle route from central Hackney to the Isle of Dogs. That on its own is exciting enough, but this route will furth link in to Quietway 2 to reach Walthamstow at one end, and via the proposed bridge, Rotherhithe and beyond at the other. When this, the bridge and Cycle Superhighway 4 are in, you’ll be able to cycle safely from Walthamstow to Greenwich, or vice versa.

It’s really vital that TfL hears loud and clear that lots of people support this. But it’s also really important they hear about some of our key concerns about the current proposals.
