Make London’s dangerous junctions safe

Yet another person has been killed cycling at a junction. Badly-designed junctions pose unacceptable risks to people cycling and walking, and the programme to fix them isn’t working effectively.

Since Transport for London committed to fixing London's most dangerous junctions, only a handful have been brought up to international safety standards.

This isn’t good enough. TfL's Better and Safer Junctions programmes are failing to fix these notorious junctions with the urgency necessary to avoid future deaths. There must be no more delays or inaction on London’s most dangerous junctions.

Sign our petition to tell Mayor Sadiq Khan to make London’s most dangerous junctions safe, now!

To: Mayor Sadiq Khan

We call on you, as Chair of TfL, and on your new Deputy Mayor for Transport, Heidi Alexander, to rapidly bring all of the junctions in the Safer and Better Junctions programmes up to international quality standards, making sure that TfL publishes a timescale for doing so, in order to achieve your Vision Zero goal of eliminating road deaths and serious injuries.
