Climate Action Lewisham recently joined forces with Lewisham Cyclists, and are in the process of setting up a “Cycling Library” where you can try out bikes and accessories to help the entire family get active - register your interest here on the Climate Action Lewisham website.

Lewisham Cyclists is growing. We now have over 1,000 members affiliated to us through membership of the London Cycling Campaign, and others who join rides or follow us on social media. We’re passionate about safer cycling, and helping you get around actively. If you feel the same, you're welcome to our monthly meeting or join our Slack channel to find out more. We need local enthusiasts who know their neighbourhood and can encourage safer streets, and people who are passionate about seeing more children and families, and underrepresented minorities cycling. From 1st March all HGV’s coming into London will need to meet the new Safety Vision Standards meaning safer streets for people on bicycles and pedestrians. There is a grace period during which HGV owners can work towards full compliance but this is a huge step towards reducing danger for people on bicycles. See LCC article for details.
