Mayor’s Charity Bike Ride – Sunday 16th April

The Friends of Ingrebourne Valley & Hornchurch Country Park supported by Havering Cyclists invite you to participate in a 12 mile (mostly off road) sponsored & led bike ride on Sunday, 16th April 2023 commencing at 10.45 in Hornchurch Country Park in support of the Havering Mayor’s two Charities.

The Mayor’s Charities

PTSD999 is the only organisation in the UK that supports all members of the emergency services, both serving and retired, voluntary, family and friends.

PTSD999 is completely independent and funded by private donations, sales through the shop and service or products that they deliver.

The Mardyke Youth & Community Centre

The Mardyke Youth & Community Centre is a small but well equipped Community Centre with a mixed variety of different clubs, events and activities.

They are also able to hire out several facilities including:- Large Main Hall MAX capacity is 150 for Functions (excluding 16th, 18th or 21st Birthday Parties).

A Small Hall (conference room) can be hired along with the main hall or separately.

An IT Suite fully equipped with 18 computers for training purposes Committee Room Capacity of no more than 12 people (ideal for small meetings.)

To Join the Ride

There is a nominal charge of £5.00 for each person to participate in this bike ride (16 years +) but children under 16 years are welcome and free of charge but must be accompanied by a ‘responsible’ adult.

ALL ENTRY FEES WILL GO TO THE MAYOR’S CHARITIES AS PART OF YOUR DONATION.

Please note: We have worked hard to find the most efficient and economical method for collecting these payments. All fundraising plaforms charge a fee and the method we have chosen costs just 20p plus 1.2% per transaction.
